The new academic year is about to start! But, a final reflection on 2023.
In 2023, Professor Uemura's 3rd year seminar class participated in an Industry-Academia Collaboration project. The aim of the project was to introduce the Aqua Metropolis Osaka (Suito Osaka) to visitors coming to Osaka, especially for the World Expo 2025. 

As part of the project the seminar class took an evening river cruise around the waterways of Osaka with Captain Yoshizaki Kaori in the Ofune Kamome.

Travelling around the waterways of Osaka was a new way to see Osaka. The buildings, bridges, and colorful lights were beautiful to see. 

Many people waved from the sides of the river, from bridges and even riverside cafes and restaurants. It created a friendly and relaxed atmosphere that was enjoyed by everyone.

As part of the project the students produced videos for YouTube called the "Aqua Metropolis Saga". There are seven videos.
